Inclusion, Equity & Communications Strategy
Kering is an industry leader in the luxury fashion space. Moved to deeper action in response to the social uprisings after the death of George Floyd, Kering approached Maestra to develop a swift response and a results-centered course of action within the organization. Maestra collaborated with Kering’s Communication team, Human Resources Department, and the Global Officer for Diversity, Inclusion, and Talent, to frame, communicate and move forward. Together, we developed a language and practice for communicating issues of racial injustice and inequity and building a strategy for actioning equity principles internally and externally.
Scope Included:
Growing awareness and understanding of key equity and anti-racist principles
Establishing conditions for longer term diversity, inclusion, and equity work
Positioning Kering’s communication as grounded in understanding and evidence of true commitment to progress
Providing guidance on non-profit partners, outreach, and relationship cultivation
Developing strategy for convening & equity programming
