Equity & Inclusion Strategy

Cole Haan is a pioneer in inventing and reinventing modern dress footwear, bags, and accessories. Inspired by the community and political action surrounding the death of George Floyd, Cole Haan approached Maestra with a desire to act and a commitment to anti-racist work. Maestra collaborated with Cole Haan to craft a response and a new way forward – working with leadership to devise and execute a strategy that expands the mission and values of Cole Haan to include an understanding of equity and inclusion.

Scope Included:

  • Defining and implementing strategic programming and initiatives that reflect the values of Cole Haan and has quantifiable impact on the targeted community.
  • Positioning Cole Haan as a leader in the fashion industry on diversity, inclusion and anti-racist practice.
  • Increasing consumer alignment and support for Cole Haan Building support from key thought leaders, youth, activists and targeted communities
